The MEDI@4SEC project discusses technology trends and their use for public authorities at a workshop in Brussels
Efus took part in the workshop on “Innovative market solutions” organised by the MEDI@4SEC project, of which it is a partner, which was focused on the most recent technological innovations in the ICT sector and their implications on security, on 26 September in Brussels (BE). Apart from the workshop itself, which gathered about 60 attendees from some 20 European countries, MEDI@4SEC hosted an “Industry Day” where solution providers and current European-funded projects could showcase their solutions and prototypes. ...
Second meeting of the PRACTICIES group of cities on the prevention of violent radicalisation in cities
The group of cities of the PRACTICIES project for the prevention of violent radicalisation in cities, which is led by Efus, held its second work meeting on 4-5 October in Efus' head office in Paris. The objectives of the meeting were to discuss the project's development with the members of the group of cities, to show them the experience of the Seine-Saint-Denis area, near Paris, in preventing violent radicalisation, and to start working on the recommendations for local authorities that will result from the project. ...
Start of the new “Cutting Crime Impact” (CCI) European project on the reduction of the impact of crime on local communities
A new project funded by the European Commission, “Cutting Crime Impact” (CCI), in which Efus is a partner, will start on 1 October. Its objective is to enable police and relevant local and national authorities, in particular security policymakers, to reduce the impact of crime and, where possible, prevent crime from occurring in the first place. ...
