- The Hurunui District Council is proposing to manage the Three Waters Services under one bylaw that will manage water supply, stormwater, wastewater and trade waste. The Council is also proposing to manage the risk of backflow to the water supply with a policy. View the full information document here >>
- The North Canterbury Business Expo is on September 22nd from 10am. Rangiora Promotions is hoping to attract over 1,000 attendees and is now inviting local businesses to participate in the event by showcasing your business and sharing your knowledge, passion and skills with the attendees. - The Waimakariri District Council is seeking feedback on the new Draft Kaiapoi Town centre Plan. Visit their website to read the full plan and find out about public drop-in sessions. - The Waimakariri Event Fund is now open. Are you wanting to start a new event in the Waimakariri? Are you trying to grow an existing event in the Waimakariri? Applications are now being invited to apply for funding for event promotion or coordination in our district that clearly demonstrate economic and/or community benefit to the Waimakariri District. The Waimakariri Event Fund is Waimakariri District Council funding administered by Enterprise North Canterbury.
- Ravenswood Developments has practical completion of Stage 1A of the Ravenswood subdivision and has made an application for 224c from Council. Once this is approved by Council, they can apply to LINZ for titles. There are only four lots left for sale in Stage 1A and Ravenswood is running a free fuel promotion for Stage 1B for the rest of August.
