Dear

Tourism is a significant contributor to the North Canterbury economy. That's why a lot of time and consideration has gone into the new-look Visit Waimakariri Official Visitor and Walking and Cycling Guide, and why the Hurunui District Council have put the time and effort into supporting the electric vehicle charging station network through their district. And whilst tourist numbers may diminish over winter, it's great for our local consumers to see that North Canterbury businesses are predicting stable times ahead and also forging ahead with new initiatives like the Fresh Air Project.

Kind regards,

Heather Warwick, CEO
