"May" They Bring You Happiness

May has been quite a successful month for adoptions here at Equine Voices Rescue & Sanctuary. This month we say goodbye to Solo Vino, Casper, Wendy, and Twizzle who have been adopted by Vicki Rutter. We also say goodbye to Hoka, adopted by Nicole Artz, and Little Deuce who has been adopted by Catherine Dean. While it is always hard to say goodbye to the beautifully spirited equines we help on their way to finding forever homes, it is equally just as wonderful.

Congratulations to you all on your successful adoptions and we thank you with the deepest of gratitude for helping us to further our mission in saving, rehabilitating, and rehoming these gentle creatures.

If you are interested in adopting, please visit our website at: https://www.equinevoices.org/horses/programs/give-horse-loving-home/ or call the office at: (520) 398-2814 to schedule a visit with our horses.

 King Amendment

Last week we featured an article from The Homes For Horses Coalition titled, "The King Must Fall." This week we shed a little more light on the subject. The King Amendment, if you are unaware, is specifically designed to undermine the authority of states to restrict the sale within their own borders of products of factory farms and battery cages. They are due to vote on this bill, in Washington, next week.
